Purchasing roundwood from the forests of the Black Forest has been a privilege since our foundation in 1922.
We obtain our wood from the best growing areas within a radius of 50 kilometres. From there, we receive up to 240,000 solid cubic metres of spruce and fir wood of consistently high quality every year.
The connections to our suppliers that have existed for decades are an important asset for us, which we gladly and intensively cultivate. It is also thanks to this intensive cooperation that we are able to continuously offer our customers wood of the highest quality.

We do not obtain our wood from distant forests, but from regional suppliers in the Black Forest, as we did back in 1922. For economic and ecological reasons, we obtain our wood exclusively from a maximum distance of 50 kilometres as the crow flies from our sawmill.
